PLAYGROUND GETS A FRESH LOOK
The residents of Pleasant Hollow recently came together to revitalize our subdivision playground. The project took several phases to complete throughout May and June.
- Phase I – PHHOA Board Members met to replace the broken swing seats and repair some minor issues.
- Phase II – Volunteers met to paint the existing playground equipment. This phase made the park look brand new!
- Phase III – PHHOA Board Members met to kill grass and weeds in preparation of our next planned phase.
- Phase IV – The final phase involved volunteers joining board members to spread more than 20 cubic yards of mulch. Cubic yards NOT feet!
We could not have completed this project without all our volunteers. We were so grateful to not only have our residents, but volunteers from outside our subdivision from neighboring churches and schools. We were also able to award community service hours to high school students that need to meet graduation requirements.
